Sure, you have your typical baby essentials list ready to go. There’s the crib…the onesies…the baby bottles…the diapers… and so on. But this list are new mom items that you may not have thought of getting, but after hearing about it, you’ll probably want it.
1. Baby Picture Frames!
There are so many nice baby picture frames out there! Different designs! Different colors!
There’s the one that has 12 slots for pictures of the baby each month until 1 years old. This can be found here:

Trust me! This is a must! It’ll be VERY sentimental to give to your kids when they’re years older or just to keep for yourself to look back on from time to time. You can put all sorts of firsts in there. Like their hospital bands, their sonogram pictures, their first beanie hat or onesie. This is a great option for a keepsake box, see the link below:

A pregancy journal turned out to be such a great stress relieving outlet for me. Sometimes when you’re pregnant, you just go through a whirlwind of emotions, moods, discomforts, that you can’t necessarily explain to your spouse/partner or anyone in a way that they’ll understand, UNLESS they were physically or emotionally going through it themselves. So for me, writing out things that I was going through, or things that I was feeling throughout my pregnancy, helped me reflect back on what was causing my emotions or moods.
That being said, I wrote in my pregnancy journal with the intention of being an open book for my husband and my kids. I wanted the journal to help give my husband more insight into MY perspective of my pregnancy journey. And I wanted the journal to be a future resource for my sons to use when they’re respective wives become pregnant, Insha’Allah. Some options can be found below:
