Tiramisu is a classic dessert dish to bring to any family gathering! This is a super easy homemade recipe for anyone to ejoy. That includes any of those picky-eaters!

You’ll need:

8×8 baking dish

handheld or stand mixer

plastic wrap

Ingredients:

8oz mascarpone cheese

1/2 cup sugar

2/3 cup of strong brewed coffee

1 package nilla wafer cookies

1 vanilla bean pod

1 1/2 cup of heavy cream

3/4 cup cocoa powder

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the heavy cream into stiff peaks using a handheld or stand mixer.
  2. Add the sugar, vanilla bean, and mascopone cheese and mix it in well. Then set aside.
  3. Pour the strong coffee into a small wide bowl.
  4. Dip each nilla wafer cookie into the coffee, and place them into a single layer at the bottom of the 8x8in baking dish
  5. Evenly spread half of the mascarpone cheese mixture over the nilla wafer cookie layer.
  6. Add another layer of the coffee dipped nilla wafer cookie
  7. Evenly spread the remaining mascarpne cheese mixture over the 2nd nilla wafer cookie layer
  8. Dust the top of the mascopone cheese mixture w/ some cocoa powder
  9. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours or overnight. Enjoy!
