Who doesn’t love banana bread. It’s an easy way to turn overly ripe bananas into a classic breakfast/brunch dish or an afternoon tea snack. This recipe is super simple, and easy to make. Many picky-eaters have come back for seconds!

You’ll need:

Loaf pan lightly coated with cooking spray

Ingredients:

  • 3 really ripe bananas
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas
  3. Add the egg, butter, and sugar. Mix together
  4. Add the cinnamon, salt, baking soda, and flour. Mix well
  5. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan that has already been lightly coated w/ cooking spray
  6. Bake the banana bread for approx. 50-60mins
  7. Let banana bread cool before serving. ENJOY!
