This is a delicious dessert/appetizer recipe that got my WHOLE family grabbing for seconds and thirds! Including all the picky-eaters! It’s a beutiful twist to the famous apple pie that everyone loves.

Makes 16 apple pie bombs

What You’ll need:

rolling pin

baking sheet

parchment paper

Ingredients:

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 can (8ct) store bought biscuits

1 can of apple pie filling

2 tsp melted unsalted butter

All purpose flour as needed

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees F
  2. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Then set aside.
  3. In medium bowl, cut apples from apple pie filling into small pieces.
  4. Open can of biscuits in accordance to instructions. Then separate each biscuit (8ct) into halves (making 16ct total)
  5. Using a rolling pin and flour as needed, roll each biscuit half into 4 inch circles.
  6. Spoon 1.5 tbsp of the apple pie filling into the center of each rolled biscuit half.
  7. Pull the rim of the rolled biscuit half together. And pinch it sealed.
  8. Place over parchment paper on baking sheet, with sealed rim side facing down.
  9. Bake in the oven for 20-25mins. or until golden brown.
  10. Use back of a spoon, dip it into melted butter. Smear butter over each apple pie bomb
  11. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture over each apple pie bomb.
  12. Serve immediately or at room tempurature. ENJOY!
